Rockwood is a small town with a friendly population. Located on the Tennessee River’s Watts Bar Lake, there are numerous upscale subdivisions popping up in our area.  Since we are nestled against the Cumberland Plateau, there is no shortage of hiking, camping and picnicking in the immediate area (not to mention fishing and golfing).  Within an easy drive to Knoxville or Chattanooga, there is no shortage of urban amenities if you like the big cities.  Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg offer destination tourism opportunities.  Situated in Roane County, over one million people make their home within a 50 mile radius.  This has not affected the small town atmosphere you will find here.  Welcome to Rockwood.
